Okay!! So today I feel like talking about some of my most favourite teen movies. I can never get enough of watching these again and again and again (seriously). Here is a list of my top five favourite teen movies.
1) Mean Girls (2004)
Lindsay Lohan is one of my favourite actress, she is extremely adorable and charismatic, and I love her so much. Mean Girls is actually a smart and funny movie which portrays the social politics that revolve around teenage life. The main theme of the movie shows us that you will be more contented/happier as yourself than as anybody else. All the cast did a great job especially Rachel McAdams, she is a special kind of amazing. I really like this movie and I still want to watch it again and again.
2) High School Musical (2006, 2007, 2008)
High School Musical was a very good movie by Disney channel. If you like to watch musical movies, you will surely love this one. This movie will take you all the way back to high school. With some dance moves, the movie also added outstanding songs, humor, love, and friendship. I was really impressed by the main lead singing skills. I loved the song “Start of something new” by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. I truly loved those movies in which actors actually sing the movie songs by themselves. In fact all the songs were great, and the actors rocked the stage. You can enjoy this movie with your family and friends. All the three parts of High School Musical are definitely worth watching.
3) Princess Diaries (2001, 2004)
This movie will definitely win your hearts as it conveys the messages about the importance of friendship, being true to yourself and also caring about others. It’s a story of a young girl who finds out that she is a princess in a European kingdom. Main role is played by the very gorgeous Anne Hathaway, who never failed to impress her fans. One of the most interesting quote of the movie that I liked so much is, “No one can make you inferior without your consent”. First part of the movie followed by the second part names as Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement. I highly recommend this movie, it’s clean, and it’s funny and really appealing.
4) She’s The Man (2006)
I have watched many gender bender movies/serials from different regions but I didn’t enjoy those like I enjoyed this one. Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum both were so endearing. Tomboyish viola plays a role of a girl who pretends to be a guy in order to play football. This movie conveys a very strong message of allowing a person to follow his or her interests without being forced to live up like others.
5) Sydney White (2007)
This one again having Amanda Bynes as a lead actress, she’s lovely, funny, cut and literally down to earth. I really love her and her acting skills are great as well. Sydney White is a college comedy that tells the tale of a freshman student Sydney who ditches her devious sorority sisters and finds a new home with a very dorky group of students, who have been treated badly. Sydney White then off to war against the governing campus royalty. This movie also conveys the spirit of friendship, bonding, loyalty and hard work of college life students.
So these were my favorite teen movies. Tell me some of your favorite teen movies, I would love to hear from you. Have a nice day!
